Recently, I had the pleasure of learning about a musical remixing group artist named Unwrapped (thank you, DJ Tony Fernandez). The group has taken modern urban tracks and for all intents and purposes converted these into jazz renditions. Unwrapped puts their take on artists such as 50 Cent, Ludacris, Andre 3000/Outkast, Ja Rule, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G. and many others. At the time of this post, Unwrapped has released 8 volumes for public consumption.
I’ve had a brief listen to most of the songs from each volume and have created a 3-hour playlist of 50 remixed songs. I believe this mix would make a great soundtrack to your wedding, even if you don’t know the original songs. The link to the mix is below.
